Airpac Bukom have met the HSE requirements of their contract with FosterWheeler WorleyParsons (FWW), and as a result, are ready to mobilise on schedule to the Woodside Pluto LNG project.

Airpac Bukom relied heavily on assistance from An Meá to demonstrate to FWW that the appropriate HSE controls were in place. The services An Meá provided included:

• HAZID workshop and Hazard Register
• HSE management documents for the contract including: Health & Safety Management Plan; Environmental Management Plan;
• Emergency Response Plan; Cyclone Response Plan; and Traffic Management Procedure
• Safe Work Method Statements for the operation and servicing of equipment
• Training plan
• Register of periodic inspections to be conducted on-site
• HSE training and project HSE induction

Airpac Bukom supplies portable compressed air equipment and operational and maintenance personnel to oilfield clients. Under a contract with FWW, Airpac Bukom provide equipment to the Pluto Project. This equipment is used for air blowing, pneumatic testing, and supply of clean dry instrument air during construction and pre-commissioning of the mechanical works.

The contract with FWW required Airpac Bukom to demonstrate compliance with the client’s HSE requirements for before mobilisation of equipment and personnel to the project site.

Airpac Bukom is a relatively small organisation in Australia without any local in-house HSE expertise, and therefore engaged An Meá for assistance.
